It’s a little funny to fight with MH about just how excited we are for winter. He used to be a ski instructor, but he doesn’t live for the winter here – he has a real job! We aren’t those people that pray for snow, but let me tell you about my weekend:
- finished up the outside housework
- put skis in ski swap
- attended ski swap
- sold skis at ski swap
- saw Warren Miller’s Wintervention
- went to another ski swap
- bought gloves at ski swap
- got MK new coat
- picked up ski money at ski swap
- read Ski Magazine buyer’s guide to pick out new skis
- tried on all our new ski gear
- attended Park City Girls Pub Crawl and talked about skiing
So as you can see, I’m kind of a junkie now. And I’m tweeting it – in case you didn’t see the picture, all my hard snow dance work paid off and it snowed overnight. Everyone in Park City is talking about it – except MH. I’ll keep working on him.

MH was a ski instructor?! I shouldn’t be surprised, seeing as I’ve never actually met the guy, but nonetheless…. Where?

Haha, yeah I was . . . . back in PA, back in the day! I wouldn’t say I hate snow, I hate snow removal, cold, wind etc . . . .
I’m a big time beach bum! Honestly, I’d take surfing over skiing any day!
Although I am excited to film and Ski with CK and MK this season! Maybe I’ll start liking it again . . . .

I’ve never skied anywhere but CO and UT, but from what I’ve been told about East Coast skiing, you deserve a medal for doing that job and not killing someone or yourself (you’re not on the run from the law, are you?). I’ll never understand you beach people. Crazy, the whole lot of you.

It’s all the same . . . . the mountains are just a little bit smaller, I think the longest run we had (top to bottom) was called Minute Man. One minute from the top to the bottom : )

I forget because that was forever ago! And I don’t think beaches give you stretch marks…

I know it wasn’t the beach that gave me the stretch marks, silly. It was the tiny humans, but the end result is the same: been there, done that, not humiliating myself by going back.

You don’t give yourself enough credit for just how fabulous you look after babies. It’s a high bar you and RH are setting for me…
