When I was in college, my aunt bought me a plant. It was in this gorgeous pot that reminded me of our trip to France. I tried. At least I think I remember that I tried. I watered it every time it looked like it was going to die, since it was one of those plants, some sort of hosta/ivy thing, that you buy basically as a kill-free house plant. The thing couldn’t die.
I do have the opposite of green thumbs though, and one day in an effort to get it some sunlight I put it out on my patio and killed it. Winter in Texas can have warm days and then freeze over night. It was hardly my fault. Crazy Texas weather.
Other than a few poinsettias, we’ve never owned anything, plant, pet, or baby, that was living in our homes.
It’s been most likely 6 years, so it was time to try again.
This is Otis:
Otis cost 2.99 and is pretty and so far has been watered twice.
Any suggestions on how not to kill Otis?
